Christian Zupancic, Attorney and Principal

Christian Zupancic is a long-time resident of the Pacific Northwest: he grew up fishing, camping, hiking, and skiing in the small mountain town of Sandy, Oregon. Later, he attended Stanford University to earn his degree in psychology, after which he moved to a different mountain town, South Lake Tahoe. From Tahoe his travels took him across the planet…including to Spain, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Guatemala, and even on an eight-year stint across the U.S. to perform with a nationally-touring music group.
At last, Christian decided to get a haircut and to move back to Oregon to get his law degree. In 2013 he graduated from the Willamette University College of Law, cum laude, after which he and his wife AJ moved to the beautiful coastal town of Seaside where they now reside. Christian, AJ, their two daughters Ruth and Corinne, and their dog, Tig—who really loves rolling in dead fish—couldn’t be happier.


Laura Palos Y Roybal – Paralegal / Legal Assistant to Christian Zupancic

Laura Palos y Roybal is a hybrid business and real estate paralegal/legal assistant with over 30 years of experience in the industry. Relocating to the Oregon Coast from Los Angeles, California, Laura’s expertise includes a wide range of real estate and corporate transactions, including purchases, sales and lending transactions, formation of entities (e.g., corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships), as well as other real estate, title and corporate matters. Prior to joining Zuplaw, Laura worked as a Contract Paralegal in the Portland area concentrating on transactional and litigation matters relating to general business, construction and real estate, as well as environmental defense regarding Superfund and contaminated property matters.


Dudley Dewright – Quality Control

Dudley Dewright was rescued in May 2017 from Southern California and is a U.S. Registered Service Dog. As head of Quality Control, Dudley likes to weigh in on the work we do, often supervising and making sure things are running efficiently. Dudley’s regular breaks to feed, water, and go for a walk are a welcome balance to a busy law practice, reducing stress and promoting a more unified workforce. What’s more, his top notch customer service skills—coupled with his warm disposition and kind nature—put clients visiting our office at ease (not to mention that his billing rates are pretty basic— he works for treats).
